🐄 Dairy Days Parade Info for Parade Participants! 🎉
The 79th Annual Platteville Dairy Days Parade is this Saturday, September 12, at 9:30 AM! If you’re part of the parade, please have your unit in its assigned staging area by 9:00 AM.
A few important reminders:
🚧 Construction has changed some staging area access. Hickory Street will be ONE WAY from Irene St. to Main St. starting at 8:00 AM. Parade units should enter staging areas from Southwest Road, Jay Street, or Irene Street. Section 2 entries may enter from Main & Hickory.
Participants can be dropped off along Bradford Street.
When you arrive, check in with the parade staff in yellow vests at your assigned section.
No throwing candy or other items from floats or vehicles. Anyone handing out candy must walk along the sides of the parade route.
After crossing Water Street, continue to Broadway Street. Please do not turn onto Ellen Street or Virgin Avenue.
Be sure to check the attached parade lineup and updated staging/route map before Saturday!
